The Alpha Course
Alpha is a well-known course that offers an opportunity to explore some of the major issues of life from the perspective of Christian faith and in a relaxed atmosphere. It has been run successfully in churches of most of the major Christian denominations and in many countries around the world.
Alpha has helped thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to get a better understanding of who Jesus is and how Christianity can be relevant to their day-to-day lives. For many, it has literally been a life-changing experience.

We have already run several Alpha courses jointly with other churches across the town and have plans to offer this again. A typical evening begins with a buffet meal followed by a short presentation on an aspect of life and the Christian faith. After coffee, there is an opportunity to talk and raise issues about the presentation in a no-holds-barred group discussion.
